Trained by world renowned cosmetic dentists, Dr. William J. Cohen has been crafting beautiful smiles for celebrities, models, adults and children for over 25 years. Education and Experience Graduating from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, Dr. Cohen also served in the United States Army for two years after completing his doctorate of dental surgery. After his service, Dr Cohen became an instructor at the University of Illinois Dental School and began practicing dentistry in the Chicago area. As an experienced general, cosmetic, and implant dentist, Dr. Cohen, is committed to providing patient safety, comfort, and education to ensure a high quality dental experience unlike no other. Dr. Cohen has received many professional distinctions, including being one of only eight dentists in the state of Illinois and 236 in the world to achieve accreditation by the distinguished American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry  The Institution's rigorous accreditation program single's out those dentists who are dedicated and exceedingly accomplished at performing cosmetic dentistry to the highest standard. Dr. Cohen became the 138th dentist in the world to achieve this honor. Professional Memberships and Honors Dr. Cohen is an active member in several accredited dental organizations including: the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the Crown Council. He has also been president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Chicago sector since 1995. In 2002, Dr Cohen., was honored with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's "Outstanding Contribution to Cosmetic Dentistry" award and he has been included several times in "Who's Who in Dentistry".
